This summer has been intense. I'm working 3 jobs, and I'm lucky to have one day off per week. One of those jobs, however, is that of a production intern at WNDU-TV/NBC studios in South Bend, Indiana. This has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I'm learning valuable knowledge about the industry, work flow, seamless integration, and many different aspects of presentation. I've sat in with the art department, and I regularly run camera for the broadcasts. Check out the About Me page for more detailed info. I cleaned up a all of the pages on my site, and added a few other little tidbits of information. Expect a large update soon, I have lots of new renders and such that I want to add. I only need to find the time to do so. Lynx out.

I had to do some assignments for class using... Dreamweaver. *shudder* I did the assignment, and now it's back to good old notepad. I apologise for any messy syntax due to the use of Dreamweaver, I promise it won't happen again! Tonite I fixed some continuity errors within my pages. I added a much needed feature - clicking on the It's Rigged! logo will take you back to index from any page. Finally, one can make a complete trip through my site! I also added the oh-so-important resume page. There you can see a messy version of my resume presented in HTML, or you can download MillerRobert.doc to see the original, pretty version. Lynx out.

I finally went back and troubleshooted for Internet Explorer. Please feel free to explore my site, free of odd bugs. As I expected, the problem causing all of my text to link towards the homework page was nothing more than a missing > to close off the link buttons at the top. Since I wrote the first line, then copied for the rest, I completely missed this and it resulted in all of the links running together. That is now free of error. I also fixed the problem with the index page not displaying these news headlines in IE. So, if you are an IE user, than I guess you never knew something was wrong. Pretend as if you didn't hear that. Anyways, the sites squeaky clean for the most part right now. Hang tight, I'm working on a flash animation to put on here, and I also have some new stills to upload. Keep watching It's Rigged. It's class time now, so I gotta run. Lynx out.

Lots of updates tonite. I added tons of media (finally!) to the renders page. Please visit that page immediately, and when you do, note that my navigational buttons actually work! It was an easy fix, I was just too lazy to do it any other time. I stumbled upon a nice bit of code on some flash cartoon website, and I realized that it was a great solution to my video issue. I still had problems with .avi files embedding correctly, so I just went back and re-rendered all of those animations and output them as quicktime .mov's. I needed to do that anyways. Enjoy finally seeing the work that I've done, it's what this site was built for in the first place! Also, I added a page about myself, and gives some background information explaining the name of my site. Check it out, I'll be adding more to that page in the future, I just need to get some sleep at this point. I got on a creative hotstreak tonite, and started programming/animating at 11:30 pm. It's currently 6 a.m. It's time for me to sign off.

Major site revisions are currently underway. This area is now reserved for news and updates. If you are looking for Internet Programming homework, that can be found at the homework link visible at the bottom of the page. I took the few posted renders off of the still images page, (come on, renders on the page reserved for stills? What was I thinking? I don't have an excuse.) they now exist where they belong. Navigation from the top and bottom links will lead you to it's disparate world. Before next Thursday I'm planning on learning how to embed .avi files so I can post the rest of my animation renders. At the moment, I have one .avi posted, and it's not very well protected. I have it here for your viewing pleasure, please do not download and use it without my permission.
Anyways, the site is making a lot of progress, and I'm very happy with the new look. The side trim turned out very well in my eyes. It's inspiration struck me at my brother's house. Luckily I had my PC there to work on it. It's a bit inspired from Tim Burton's distinctive animated look, touched up with a custom Photoshop brush to utilize depth and my favorite color combination. Please let me know what you think of the site, suggestions and comments are always welcome - critical or not.

Mail Me Comments? How does Pixar do it?
